Homer Rembrandt

Homer Rembrandt was born from a series of visits to London's National Gallery and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, where I spent hours studying the Dutch masters — their dramatic chiaroscuro, the warmth of their palettes, the quiet dignity carved into every brushstroke. The idea of translating that 17th-century gravitas onto one of pop culture's most irreverent faces felt irresistible: a tribute and a wink at the same time. The piece was later featured on the Advanced Photoshop website and selected as the icon representing their Illustration category — a small recognition that meant a great deal, considering the caliber of the artists gathered on that platform.
